The vineyards are located in the Leyda Valley, approximately 9 miles from the Pacific coast on moderately sloping hillsides with granitic soils and a predominance of clay. The vines are planted to a density of 13,727 plants per acre and trained to vertical shoot position. Pruning is aimed at achieving low yields to allow the grapes to ripen a little earlier. The canopies of the vines are kept intact until harvest to preserve a very good level of bunch coverage, which enable the fruit to reach harvest with a very good level of aromas in the skins.

Harvest Note
2019-2020 season was extremely dried in Chile. This condition was too important in the growing and maturity definitions in all this period. Whites varieties in all the cool areas, was affected in crop level and cluster size. The small clusters and the high concentrated grapes help to increase the aromas potential. Summer was normal in temperatures, with fresh nights and without rain. Leyda valley improve all that fresh aromas for this wine, and this season we had to be very careful to be able to harvest at the right time, with the right flavors.
Tasting Note
Crystalline light greenish-yellow in color. An expressive nose shows great typicity with fresh aromas of passion fruit, guava, grapefruit, and subtle notes of green chilies. The smooth palate offers crisp, juicy acidity characteristic of the coastal zone. A medium body complements an elegant, prolonged finish in line with the aromas perceived on the nose.
Food Pairing
Highly recommended with razor clams Parmesan, salmon ceviche, Chilean rock cod, and shrimp in garlic sauce.
