This wine pairs concentration and minerality. Black fruit predominates on the nose with raspberry, blackberry, umami and dried black cherry. The wine is grippy in texture and is supported by taut tannins through to the long finish. Drink now and from 2026 onwards to see the wine benefit from age in bottle.
The 2022 Moulin-à-Vent has a sapid, marine-tinged bouquet, hints of shucked oyster shell infusing the dark berry fruit. Fine delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly furry tannins, spicier than the Morgon, with a little more edginess and pepperiness on the finish. Very fine.
Minerally and savory Moulin-a-Vent showing wet stone, bark, strawberry and rosemary aromas. It’s medium-bodied, fresh and elegant with fine-grained tannins. Excellent length. Drink or hold.
Ripe, juicy and full of black fruits, this is a full-bodied wine. It is an amalgam of grapes from different parts of the Moulin-à-Vent vineyard, giving fruit and structure in abundance.
This has so much immediate red berry charm plus a touch of sour cherry. A bit on the light and crisp side for this appellation, but there are some nice restrained tannins supporting the fruit and harmonizing the stony acidity. Very well crafted
