Fresh raspberries, lavender, and crushed cherry tomatoes followed by kola nuts and cinnamon stick. Medium-bodied, refreshing acidity and silky tannins. A hint of stony minerality at the end. Fragrant and harmonious wine.

This translucent red cherry colored Pinot Noir from Craggy Range opens with an aromatic potting soil and red raspberry bouquet with hints of cedar and cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and savory. The flavor profile is slightly tart pomegranate and rhubarb blend with notes of loam, mushroom, and cola. We also detected hints of clove and cassis. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity stick around for a while.

Supple red and black fruit is gently woven with ground baking spices, peppercorn, vanilla bean and floral nuances. The mid-weight palate has a slinky, satiny texture, with fine, sappy tannins, a crunch of acidity and silky juicy berry fruit.

Lots of wild strawberry, raspberry, blackcurrant, clove, dried spices and lemon zest. Silky, spicy and sophisticated with sleek tannins and a medium body. Pretty and polished. Drink now or hold. Screw cap.
